“I love using it because of its ability to whip air into ice cream or tonics or even coconut milk - it gives the fluffiest mouthfeel that no other blender can replicate,” she says. Moon Juice founder Amanda Chantal Bacon employs the Vitamix at her shops but has one at home as well. When I was head of product at Daily Harvest, I used it every day for research and development,” says Jessica Young, former fine-dining chef and founder and current CEO of Bubble. “This blender is industry standard and used across most professional kitchens. “It comes with a 64-ounce container, but a few months ago I got a 32-ounce one, too, to make things like curry paste and hummus without having to triple the volume.” Finally, it’s got a lower profile than many, able to sit underneath most regular kitchen cabinets. Nisha Vora, creator of Rainbow Plant Life, points out that you can buy additional compatible parts, too. “If any piece of it gets run down or stops functioning properly, they take care of it,” Frenkiel says. Plus, as with all Vitamix blenders, it comes with a great warranty - something noted by Green Kitchen Stories co-founder David Frenkiel and recipe developer Sophia Roe. And unlike the One, it can easily handle tougher ingredients like nuts and grains (which means it’s also extra-efficient at crushing ice for smoothies). It comes with five pre-determined settings for smoothies, hot soups, frozen desserts, purées, and a self-cleaning option (more on that below). It’s expensive, yes, but according to everyone who owns one, well worth the investment. Despite the name, it is beloved by professionals and regular cooks alike. I believe Drakengard 3 conveys its themes better than any other game in the series (yes, including NieR Replicant and NieR Automata) but is a worse game to play than most of the others. Tldr : drakengard 3 is my favorite fucking game, flaws and all, out of the Drakenier collective There’s so much untapped potential for DOD3 to become a niche fan favorite and also the DLCs and side materials for D3 are some of the more interest-piquing to me lorewise (we still don’t know what will happen with the Flower, post Branch D altho reincarnation seems to have expanded on this ending to a degree) Like, I find these characters so insufferable and I wouldn’t have them any other way - I love them but I think that all added to the charm of the game. Yes some of the jokes about Decadus’ masochism became tiring, Octa’s old perversion cringy, etc. Once I was able to sit down and really accept the humor and the characters at face value, instead of pushing expectations or comparisons of other characters in the Taro-verse, I enjoyed them considerably more. It’s definitely an unpolished gem but it’s a gem nonetheless. If people actually ditched the tech spec complaints and the memes and the “haha it’s goofy” and “the final song SUCKS” (it doesn’t imo - it just takes practice and patience for those who are able to do it (yes it is also an accessibility gameplay nightmare)) and really sat down with the story and the characters, i think more people would be able to appreciate it for what it is. (And this was playing on PS3, for the “full” genuine DOD3 experience Lmfao) I played it at the end of 2021 and into 2022 and it became my top Taro game, kicking Automata out of my personal number one spot. In DoD1 weapons arent leveled up by exp but specifically 'kills' and in DoD3 you have the blood meter which charges up intoner mode by killing and even on the back of the box it says 'carnage has never look so beautiful' (im paraphasing probably but still). Oddly i never see the same complaintes about DoD1 to me the game was about the worst of humanity failing to get the happy ending and how it was deserved.Īlthough i do have complaintes about both games for example killing is supposed to be the wrong thing to do (despite being mandatory) but both games reward killing too. Personally the 4th wall breaking was helpful to show the character personalites early on because after four's death the wall breaking was near enough gone.Īnd when it comes to the story, i never really thought it was about the story but about lore and characters surrounding it. Specifically they call the 4th wall breaking annoying and some even say this in yoko taro's least impressive game. Ive been look at a few comment sections and videos reviewing the game and the general idea i get from these is that not many like its story and characters. TL:DR - Im hoping the only reason i enjoyed DoD3 was because it cost so much so i'd like to know the general thoughts on the game.( Edit: i meant wasnt, sorry.)
